The Kalima

Kalima Tayyibah

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ

Lā ilāha illa Allāh, Muḥammadun rasūlu Allāh

There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

Kalima Shahadah

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa Allāh, wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

Hadith
